My most trusted Oasis

This my Ciudad Juarez. I can still hear the busy streets in the morning rush.
I am still able to remember the smells that the restaurants near by produce.
I still can't believe I am no longer there, sometimes I wake up and I feel like the morning desert breeze that exist in Juarez.
Its hard for me to forget my Juarez. I can still hear the church bells on Sundays just as if it was yesterday I herd them.
I will never forget it, even the Americanized part of it, I will never forget my little oasis in the desert.

SAO PAULO

Some many things to say...

Recall times I have been fulfilled with your magnitude.

Blame the emptiness on your concrete jungle.

Regret and bless your chaotic essence.

Love the dimension of your cultural diversity.

The nest of so many worlds,

predictably colliding,

somehow harmonizing.

Sacred antithesis which keeps you alive.

Always awake. Incessantly lightened.

Irrefutably global.

Endlessly mine

“SAMPA”.

The Black Stars

People say living is way harder than dying

But for us giving up is way harder than trying

As the rain drops washes away our crying

Our pain's gone giving way to smiling

And even when we down, walking

Our flags stay up in the skies Flying

People killing People dying

Leaving the sick in the bed alone

But We filling wombs with embryos,

giving others the chance to get along

The most we got of the pretty babies,

The few we know of the street ladies

As the red, the gold and th green colours brighten up our days

Our black stars shines across the globe.

My native Frankivsk

My native Frankivsk,

That emazes with its beauty

And never leave a visitor moody,

Your admiring steets

Are always nice and clean,

Your beautiful houses are colorful

That keep the inhabitants joyful,

Your magnificent fountain

Is like a big honourable mountain,

Your parks are vast and green

And nobody ia ever meen.

The most important from all things-

I love you,my native Frankivsk.

Pearl River - China

From city to village

This precious water

Where we found a boulder

So round and smooth

That it looks like large pearl

Pearl River is called

This precious water

Where ten bridges span

We can also camp

Around its beauty scenes

When the night falls

The moonlight shows

The trees so tall

Some interesting buildings

And this precious water.

My Chernivtsy Town

My Chernivtsy Town
I lived in that beautiful place,
Surrounded by big green mountains with snowy tops,
Blue sky and bright sun shining on the streets,
The streets with green grass and wonderful flowers,
The downtown area with big and small old houses,
Neighborly people of different nationalities,
Chernivtsy roadways treacherous with rocks,
Dark blue asphalt melt and flow all over the ground,
For a while I will escape from my beautiful town

Let's Forget

Let's Forget

Author: Jang Suk Joo
(Young do Choi)

If you still miss someone
You are a happy person

If you hate somebody
You should be comforted
That your life wasn’t a waste

If you are still writing a letter
Shedding tears for someone
You still have hope

You should forget about that

The name that you miss
The face that you hate
The person that you can’t forget
Just Forget about it all)

By forgetting
You should be free from yearning’s jail
By forgetting
Unravel the knot of bad fortunes
By forgetting
You should complete your Love

Then, stand up quietly
But Strongly
Rise Up again!
Start Again!

And I remember

And I remember
sitting
on the bench at the park
sitting and chatting with my best friend
the only one who understands me.
like the other half of me.

And I remember
riding a bike
to school on the road that is burning by got tires
riding past honking cars
riding to school that rose like a sun
out of honking car.

And I remember
listening
sound of speeding cars on the road
listening loud noise that people make
listening crying of sea gulls
as they fly over the glassy sea.

Yes I remember
thinking
this is my hometown
this business of traffic jams
crowd
tall buildings
and my friends
is my hometown
hometown
hometown.

Home sickness

Where is my home,
there is my home.
Home is where sadness hides,
Home can cherish the pain
Home is where we live
There is families live in a house full of nourishment
Home can be any where in the countries
So there is my lovely home.

My country poems

Nigeria we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribe and tongue may differ,
In brotherhood we stand,
Nigerians all are proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland.
Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and justice reign,
In peace or battle honour'd,
And this we count as gain,
To hand on to our children
A banner without stain.
O God of all creation,
Grant this our one request,
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed,
And so with peace and plenty
Nigeria may be blessed. AMEN
